SUMMARY:
This measure designates, as the "CHP Officer Keith M. Giles
Memorial Interchange," the interchange of State Routes 43 and
198 in Kings County.

FISCAL EFFECT:
Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect
appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.
COMMENTS:
Purpose. This measure honors Officer Giles, a four-year veteran
of the CHP, who was struck by another vehicle while making a
traffic stop and killed in the line of duty on August 25, 1974.
