Fiscal Impact: Anticipated costs to the CDE between $15,000 and $20,000 General Fund for staff time to develop the notice and provide technical assistance to the field. Committee Amendments: Remove additional requirements placed on educational liaisons for foster children related to the dissemination of the notice, thereby eliminating the potential AB 224 (Jones-Sawyer) Page 1 of ? reimbursable mandate. Streamline administrative workload by requiring the notice to be available to liaisons for dissemination by posting it on the CDE's website.
