An act to add Part 0.5 (commencing with Section 135) to Division 1 of the Health and Safety Code, and to add Division 3.5 (commencing with Section 3500) to the Welfare and Institutions Code, relating to health and human services.

Existing law establishes the California Health and Human Services Agency, and includes within that agency, the State Department of Social Services, the Department of Public Health, and the Department of Health Care Services, among other departments.

This bill would require a department within the agency that has begin delete submitted end delete begin insert received approval of end insert an operational state plan begin delete to end delete begin insert by end insert a federal agency, or that has applied and has been approved for a waiver from a federal law or regulation, to make the begin insert approved end insert plan or begin delete approved end delete waiver application available to the public by publishing begin insert a hyperlink to end insert that information on the first page of the department’s Internet Web begin delete site that relates to the same subject matter as the plan or approved waiver application. end delete begin insert site. end insert

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Part 0.5 (commencing with Section 135) is added
to Division 1 of the Health and Safety Code, to read:
