SUBJECT: Director of General Services: state leases:
notification
SUMMARY: Requires the Department of General Services (DGS) to

EXISTING LAW prohibits the Director of DGS from entering into a

the lease.
FISCAL EFFECT: Unknown
COMMENTS: Current law requires the Director of DGS to provide
written notification to the fiscal committees of the Legislature
when entering into state building leases that exceed five years
