The Administrative Procedure Act governs the procedure for the adoption, amendment, or repeal of regulations by state agencies and for the review of those regulatory actions by the Office of Administrative Law. Existing law requires that office to establish a unique numbering system for each regulatory action for identification and tracking purposes.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
Section 11341 of the Government Code is

3(c) The identification number shall be sufficient information
4for a member of the public to identify and track a regulatory action
5both with the office and the state agency taking the regulatory
6action. No other information pertaining to the regulatory action
7shall be required of a member of the public if the identification
8number of the regulatory action has been provided.
