   An act to amend Section 484 of the Business and Professions Code,
relating to professions and vocations.

   AB 513, as introduced, Jones. Professions and vocations.
   Existing law provides for the licensure and regulation of various
professions and vocations by boards within the Department of Consumer
Affairs. Under existing law, a person applying for licensure is not
required to submit to any board any attestation by another person to
the applicant's good moral character.
   This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these
provisions.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 484 of the Business and Professions Code is
amended to read:
   484.   No   A    person
applying for licensure under this code shall  not  be
required to submit to any licensing board any attestation by other
persons to his  or her  good moral character.
