Existing law establishes the Student Opportunity and Access Program, administered by the Student Aid Commission, to distribute funds on a progress payment schedule for projects designated to increase the accessibility of postsecondary educational opportunities for certain groups of elementary and secondary school pupils and, to the extent of available resources, community college students.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would expand the Student Opportunity and Access Program.
