Existing law, the Real Estate Appraisers’ Licensing and Certification Law, regulates the licensing of real estate appraisers. That law provides that the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice sets forth the minimum standards of conduct and performance for real estate appraisers.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
Section 11319 of the Business and Professions
2Code is amended to read:
Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, the
4Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice constitute
5the minimum standard of conduct and performance for a licensee
6in any work or service performed that is addressed by those
7standards. If a licensee also is certified by the Board of
8Equalization,begin delete he or sheend deletebegin insert the licenseeend insert shall follow the standards

2begin insert the licensee’send insert responsibilities for
assessment purposes.
