Existing law authorizes the legislative body of a city to issue subpoenas requiring the attendance of witnesses or production of books or other documents for evidence or testimony in any action or proceeding pending before the legislative body.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.

Section 37104 of the Government Code is
