The following information is revised to reflect amendments
adopted by the committee on August 27, 2015
Bill
Summary: AB 865 would require the California Energy Commission
(CEC) to develop an outreach program to inform women,
minorities, disabled veterans, and gay, lesbian, bisexual, and
transgender (LGBT) businesses of CEC funding opportunities.
Fiscal
Impact: Up to $150,000 annually to the Energy Resources Program
Account (General Fund) to the CEC for implementation its
outreach program.
Author
Amendments: Delete the requirements of recipients of contracts
and grants and clarifying changes.
