An act to amend Section 1814 of the Vehicle Code, relating to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Existing law requires a person engaged in the business of examining the records of the department and supplying that information to the public for compensation to first apply for a permit.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 1814 of the Vehicle Code is amended to
