LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 924, as introduced, Cooley. Income taxes: credit: high-speed Internet access.

The Personal Income Tax Law allows for various credits against the tax imposed by that law.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to provide a tax credit for the purchase of high-speed Internet access for deaf or hard-of-hearing taxpayers.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
