An act to amend Section 8680.3 of the Government Code, relating to disaster assistance.

AB 955, as introduced, Mathis. Disaster assistance.

Existing law, the California Disaster Assistance Act, defines the term “disaster” for its purposes as a fire, flood, storm, tidal wave, earthquake, terrorism, epidemic, or other similar public calamity that the Governor determines presents a threat to public safety.

This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 8680.3 of the Government Code is
