An act relating to minimum wage.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 1007, as introduced, McCarty. Minimum wage.

Existing law sets the minimum wage for all industries at $9 per hour and, on January 1, 2016, raises the minimum wage for all industries to $10 per hour.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to the minimum wage.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
