An act to amend Section 22514 of the Vehicle Code, relating to vehicles.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 1111, as introduced, Gatto. Vehicles: parking.

Existing law generally prohibits a person from stopping or parking a vehicle within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 22514 of the Vehicle Code is amended

5(a) If the vehicle is attended by a licensed driver who is seated

8(b) If the local authority adopts an ordinance or resolution
9reducing that distance. If the distance is less than 10 feet total
10length when measured along the curb or edge of the street, the
11distance shall be indicated by signs or markings.
