          SUMMARY:

This bill, as proposed to be amended, makes minor, mostly
technical changes to provisions governing the operating
agreement between the Secretary of State (SOS) and the
California Museum for History, Women, and the Arts, which is

          COMMENTS:

Purpose. This urgency measure updates the SOS's authority to
renew an operating agreement with the Museum that expires on
June 30, 2015. Currently law refers to an agreement with Golden
State Public Benefit Corporation, which is now the California
Museum for History, Women, and the Arts. The author's amendment,
to be taken in committee, reflects this change.
