   An act relating to public contracts.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 1304, as introduced, Dahle. Public contracts: public utility
districts.
   The Local Agency Public Construction Act governs contracting by
various types of local agencies, including contracts by public
utility districts.
   This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to consolidate and reconcile specified provisions of the
act relating to public utility districts.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to consolidate and reconcile Article 6 (commencing with
Section 20200) of, and Article 6.5 (commencing with Section 20202.1)
of, Chapter 1 of Part 3 of Division 2 of the Public Contract Code.
