The following information is revised to reflect amendments
adopted by the committee on August 27, 2015

Summary: This bill would require the California Public
Utilities Commission (CPUC) to develop an annual procurement
goal for demand response that is designed to reduce peak demand.
Fiscal
Impact: Annual costs in the range of $700,000 for two years to
Public Utilities Reimbursement Account (special Fund) for the
CPUC to develop the procurement goal
Committee
Amendments:
Delete the creation of an energy efficiency resource standard
and the associated filing requirements

Move the deadline for the establishment of the annual
procurement goal to November 1, 2017.
Make the CPUC, rather than the California Energy Commission,
in charge of establishing the annual procurement goal.
Specify that the procurement goal for demand response is
