This bill would appropriate $40,075,580 from the General Fund and $40,336,000 from unallocated special funds in augmentation of specified appropriations in the Budget Act of 2015 regarding augmentations for contingencies and emergencies and would require the Controller to allocate these additional amounts, as specified.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

The sum of forty million seventy-five thousand
2five hundred eighty dollars ($40,075,580) is hereby appropriated
3from the General Fund for expenditure for the 2015-16 fiscal year
4in augmentation of Item 9840-001-0001 of Section 2.00 of the
5Budget Act of 2015 (Chs. 10 and 11, Stats. 2015). Notwithstanding
6Provision 7 of Item 9840-001-0001, these funds shall be allocated
7by the Controller in accordance with the following schedule:

(a) Six million seven hundred ninety-three thousand dollars
9($6,793,000) to Schedule (3) 4650-Medical Services--Adult of
10Item 5225-002-0001.

(b) Thirty-three million two hundred seventy-five thousand
12dollars ($33,275,000) to Schedule (6) 4665-Ancillary Health Care
13Services--Adult of Item 5225-002-0001.

(c) Seven thousand five hundred eighty dollars ($7,580) to
15Schedule (1) 7600-Payment to local government for costs of
16homicide trials of Item 9300-101-0001.

19unallocated special funds for expenditure for the 2015-16 fiscal

21the Budget Act of 2015 (Chs. 10 and 11, Stats. 2015).
22Notwithstanding Provision 1 of Item 9840-001-0494, the Controller
23shall allocate forty million three hundred thirty-six thousand
24dollars ($40,336,000) to Schedule (1) 3960022-Benefits (Medical
25Care and Services) of Item 4260-101-3213.

Any unencumbered balances, as of June 30, 2016, of
27the funds appropriated within any of the items identified in Section
281 of this act shall revert to the General Fund.
