An act to amend Section 96.7 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, relating to local government finance.

Existing law, in the case of any county assuming the responsibilities of an independent local health special district created pursuant to a specified statute, requires an increase in the state assistance payments, as defined, that are made to that county.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 96.7 of the Revenue and Taxation Code

8computations pursuant to this chapter, the amount of state
9assistance payments with respect to that county shall be increased
