19(b) In addition to the compensation prescribed by subdivision

4each day the designated member or alternate attends specified
5meetings, not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300) in any month.

10eminent domain proceedings or otherwise, including, but not
11limited to, contracts and stipulations to indemnify and save
12harmless, to employ labor, to contract with a private patrol operator
13licensed pursuant to

15and Professions Code, the county sheriff and municipal police
16departments within the areas described in Section 125052, and

Section 96.7 of the Revenue and Taxation Code
26 is amended to read:
In the case of a county assuming the responsibilities of
28an independent local health special district created pursuant to
29former Chapter 6 (commencing with Section 880) of Part 2 of
30Division 1 of the Health and Safety Code, as enacted by Chapter
3160 of the Statutes of 1939, for purposes of computations pursuant
32to this chapter, the amount of state assistance payments with respect
33to that county shall be increased by five hundred four thousand
34nine hundred fifty-seven dollars ($504,957).
