An act to amend Section 32793 of the Food and Agricultural Code, relating to milk products.

Existing law, the Milk and Milk Products Act of 1947, requires market milk distributors and persons engaged in operating a milk products plant or a plant in which products resembling milk products are manufactured to transmit to the Secretary of Food and Agriculture a full and accurate report of the amount of milk and milk products and products resembling milk products that the person produced, purchased, manufactured, or distributed during the preceding month.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 32793 of the Food and Agricultural Code
is amended to read:

32793.

statistics on milk and milk products and on products resembling
milk products. He begin insert or she end insert shall, on or before the first of each month,
cause to be mailed to each person begin delete that end delete begin insert who end insert is engaged in operating

resembling milk products are manufactured, and to each market
milk begin delete distributor such end delete begin insert distributor, the end insert number of the blanks as may
be necessary. Each person begin delete that end delete begin insert who end insert is engaged in operating begin delete any
such plant, end delete begin insert a plant end insert or begin delete that end delete begin insert who end insert is a market milk distributor shall,
within 30 days after the blank is mailed to begin delete him end delete begin insert him, or her end insert , transmit
to the begin delete director end delete begin insert secretary end insert a full and accurate report of the amount
of milk and milk products and products resembling milk products
begin delete which end delete begin insert that end insert he begin insert or she end insert produced, purchased, begin delete manufactured end delete
begin insert manufactured, end insert or distributed during the preceding month.
