   An act to amend Section 1416 of the Health and Safety Code,
relating to nursing homes.

   AB 2238, as introduced, Mathis. Nursing home administrators.
   Under existing law, the Nursing Home Administrators' Act, the
State Department of Public Health licenses and regulates nursing home
administrators.
   This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that
provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 1416 of the Health and Safety Code is amended
to read:
   1416.  This chapter shall be  known   known,
 and may be  cited   cited,  as the
Nursing Home Administrators' Act.
