An act to amend Section 1802 of the Military and Veterans Code, relating to veterans.

Existing law makes it a misdemeanor to use funds that were solicited for the benefit of any veteran or veterans’ association for purposes other than those represented in the solicitation.

This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 1802 of the Military and Veterans Code
2 is amended to read:

Any person who solicits funds for the benefit of any

5purposes other than those represented in the solicitation is guilty
6of a misdemeanor.
