	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2347, as introduced, Travis Allen. Legislature: transparency.
   Existing law contains a number of provisions requiring
transparency in the legislative process, including provisions
requiring public meetings to be open to the public and provisions
requiring public records to be open to inspection.
   This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that increases the transparency of the legislative
process.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that increases the transparency of the legislative
process.
