An act to amend Section 1294 of the Code of Civil Procedure, relating to civil procedure.

Existing law specifies those types of orders and judgments from which an appeal may be taken in arbitration proceedings.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 1294 of the Code of Civil Procedure is
2amended to read:

1294.  

An aggrieved party may appealbegin delete from:end deletebegin insert from any of the
4following:end insert

5(a) An order dismissing or denying a petition to compel
6arbitration.

7(b) An order dismissing a petition to confirm, correctbegin insert,end insert or vacate
8an award.

9(c) An order vacating an award unless a rehearing in arbitration
10is ordered.

11(d) A judgment entered pursuant to this title.
