An act to amend Section 2911 of the Vehicle Code, relating to vehicles.

AB 2683, as introduced, Chu. Traffic safety programs.

Existing law requires traffic safety programs that receive state funds and include public awareness campaigns involving emergency vehicle operations to include in the public awareness campaign information on the risks peace officer motor vehicle pursuits pose to public safety, and the penalties that may result from evading a peace officer.

This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

Section 2911 of the Vehicle Code is amended to
read:
