SUMMARY:
This omnibus bill makes several minor and technical changes to
various provisions of the Vehicle Code, including:

1)Repealing a duplicative reference to the commemorative 1984
Olympic reflectorized license plates program.
2)Making a number of minor changes to conform state law with
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Standards for commercial vehicles
and vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
FISCAL EFFECT:
Negligible fiscal impact.
COMMENTS:
Purpose. This is the Assembly Committee on Transportation's
omnibus bill for 2016, which makes several non-substantive and
non-controversial changes to the Vehicle Code.
