           SUBJECT:   Senate Standing Rule 12: Standing Committees

          DIGEST:  This resolution revises Senate Rule 12 relative to  
          standing committees by increasing the numerical membership to  
          the Senate Governmental Organization Committee from 11 members  
          to 13.


          ANALYSIS:  Senate Rule 12 provides for the numerical membership  
          and subject matters of each of the Senate standing committees.   
          At the present time Senate Rule 12 provides for 11 members for  
          the Senate Governmental Organization Committee.  


          This resolution increases the membership of the Senate  
          Governmental Organization Committee to 13 which reflects the  
          current membership done procedurally by the Senate Rules  
          Committee.
