SENATE VOTE: Vote not relevant
SUMMARY: Contains necessary statutory and technical changes to
amend the Budget Act of 2015 to reflect the budget agreement
between the Governor and the Legislature.
COMMENTS: This bill amends the 2015 Budget Bill, AB 93 (Weber)
of the current legislative session, to adjust, remove, and amend
budget provisions to reflect the budget compromise agreement
reached by the Legislature and the Governor. The compromise
budget package provides $115.4 million in expenditures for
2015-16 and includes an overall reserve of nearly $4.6 billion.
The elements of the compromise budget package are fully
explained in the Assembly Budget Committee's "Floor Report"
publication.

This bill, often referred to as a "Budget Bill Jr.", makes
changes necessary to conform AB 93 to the final agreement. This
bill contains about 100 changes to various budget provisions
necessary for this purpose.
