P1 1WHEREAS, Escrow professionals throughout California provide
2vital services to our state’s citizens and are continually working
3to update their skills; and
4WHEREAS, In addition to their daily work handling the escrow
5process, escrow professionals are often also involved in other
6business, stock, and special transactions; and
7WHEREAS, Escrow professionals are dedicated to maintaining
8the highest standards of excellence through continuing education
9and legislative advocacy; and
10WHEREAS, The California Escrow Association represents
11thousands of escrow officers and those individuals who support
12the escrow industry; and
13Resolved by the Senate of the State of California, That the Senate
14declares the month of October 2016 as Escrow Month; and be it
15further
16Resolved, That the Secretary of the Senate transmit copies of
17this resolution to the author for appropriate distribution.
