   Relative to Escrow Month.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
             HOUSE OR SENATE RESOLUTIONS DO NOT CONTAIN A DIGEST



   WHEREAS, Escrow professionals throughout California provide vital
services to our state's citizens and are continually working to
update their skills; and
   WHEREAS, In addition to their daily work handling the escrow
process, escrow professionals are often also involved in other
business, stock, and special transactions; and
   WHEREAS, Escrow professionals are dedicated to maintaining the
highest standards of excellence through continuing education and
legislative advocacy;  and   now, therefore, be
it  
   WHEREAS, The California Escrow Association represents thousands of
escrow officers and those individuals who support the escrow
industry; and 
   Resolved by the Senate of the State of California, That the Senate
declares the month of October 2016 as Escrow Month; and be it
further
   Resolved, That the Secretary of the Senate transmit copies of this
resolution to the author for appropriate distribution.
