An act to amend Section 14312 of the Elections Code, relating to elections.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

SB 505, as introduced, Mendoza. Provisional voting.

Existing law allows a voter to cast a provisional ballot. Existing law requires that statutes relating to provisional voting be liberally construed in favor of the voter.

This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.
