   An act to amend Section 16000 of the Penal Code, relating to
deadly weapons.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 755, as introduced, Anderson. Criminal law: deadly weapons.
   Existing law, the Deadly Weapons Recodification Act of 2010,
regulates, among other things, the possession and sale of a variety
of weapons.
   This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to one of
the provisions of the act.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 16000 of the Penal Code is amended to read:
   16000.  This act recodifies the provisions of former Title 2
(commencing with Section 12000) of Part 4, which was entitled
"Control of Deadly Weapons." The act shall be  known
  known,  and may be  cited  
cited,  as the "Deadly Weapons Recodification Act of 2010."
