SUMMARY:
This bill makes numerous minor substantive, technical, and
non-controversial changes to various provisions of the healing

arts boards regulated by the Department of Consumer Affairs
(DCA).
FISCAL EFFECT:
Negligible state fiscal effect.
COMMENTS:
Purpose. This bill is an annual Omnibus Committee bill authored
by the Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee.
It consolidates a number of non-controversial provisions
related to various regulatory programs and professions governed
by the Business and Professions Code, relieving various
licensing entities from the burden of having separate measures
for a number of non-controversial revisions. This bill is
intended to be non-controversial and any opposition or concerns
with the consensus provisions will be removed.
