          DIGEST:   This bill extends the hospital quality assurance fee  
          to January 1, 2018 (it currently sunsets on January 1, 2017).  
          This results in estimated $845 million General Fund savings in  
          2017-18.

          Assembly Amendments delete the Senate version of the bill and  
          insert the current language.
          
          ANALYSIS:  This bill extends the hospital quality assurance fee
