SUMMARY: Makes necessary statutory and technical changes to
implement changes to the Budget Act of 2016 related to public
safety facilities. Specifically, this bill clarifies the
Legislature's intent to allow Napa County to retain all
previously awarded jail construction funding in addition to the
$20 million provided for jail construction in the 2016 Budget.
FISCAL EFFECT: None.
COMMENTS: This bill ensures Napa County will retain all past
public safety facility construction awards in addition to the
award made pursuant to the 2016 Budget Act.
