SECTION 1.  

The sum of ____ ($____) is hereby appropriated
2from the General Fund to the Attorney General to pay for the
3judgment in the case of ____.

4Any funds appropriated in excess of the amounts actually
5required for the payment of this judgment shall revert to the
6General Fund on June 30 of the fiscal year in which the final
7payment is made.

3Department of Justice to pay the settlement in Ballona Wetlands
4Land Trust v. Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission (Los
5Angeles Superior Court, Case No. BS154128). Any funds
6appropriated in excess of the amounts required for the payment

SEC. 2.  

This act is an urgency statute necessary for the
9immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety within
10the meaning of Article IV of the Constitution and shall go into
11immediate effect. The facts constituting the necessity are:

14for this act to take effect immediately.
