SB 1410, as introduced, Morrell. California Workforce Investment Act.
The federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act provides for workforce investment activities, including activities in which states may participate. The California Workforce Investment Act provides for various job training and employment investment programs, as specified. Existing law establishes the Consolidated Work Program Fund for receiving moneys deposited pursuant to the federal Workforce Investment Act and requires the Employment Development Department to administer the fund.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

Section 14004.5 of the Unemployment Insurance
