	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 991, as introduced, Perata.  Deadly weapons: ammunition.
   Existing law regulates the sale, purchase, possession, and use of
ammunition.
   This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to restrict
the sales of weapon ammunition.
   Vote:  majority.  Appropriation:  no.  Fiscal committee:  no.
State-mandated local program:  no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:


  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to restrict the
sale of weapon ammunition.
