SUMMARY : Makes technical changes in the codes based on the
Legislative Counsel's recommendations. Specifically, this bill
corrects grammatical and other errors without substantively
changing the law.
FISCAL EFFECT : None
COMMENTS : Each year, the Legislative Counsel's Office
identifies grammatical and other technical errors that have been
inadvertently enacted into statutory law. This annual
"maintenance of the codes" bill allows for the implementation of
these corrections. A condition for inclusion in this bill is
that the changes be technical only and not affect or enact
substantive law. Any proposed change that is found to effect a
substantive change is excised from this bill.
