           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Deputy Kent Hintergardt  
          Memorial Highway," the segment of State Route 15 from the State  
          Route 215 interchange to the South 79 Exit at State Route 79 in  
          Temecula (Riverside County).

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Riverside County Deputy Sheriff  
          Kent Hintergardt, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on  
          May 9, 1993 in the City of Temecula.
