           SUBJECT  :    Milton La Malfa Memorial Highway

           DIGEST  :    This resolution designates, as the Milton La  
          Malfa Memorial Highway, the portion of State Route 99  
          between Oroville Dam Boulevard West and Nelson Avenue in  
          Oroville.

           ANALYSIS  :    This resolution honors Mr. La Malfa, a farmer  
          who served on many agricultural organizations.  Mr. La  
          Malfa, who was the father of former Assemblyman Doug La  
          Malfa, died on October 5, 2008.

           FISCAL EFFECT  :    Fiscal Com.:  Yes

          Minor costs to the Department of Transportation to make and  
          erect appropriate signs.  These costs are covered by  
          donations.  (State Highway Account)
