           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "CHP Officer Larry Lynn  
          Wetterling and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Lieutenant  
          Alfred E. Stewart Memorial Highway," the portion of State Route  
          (SR) 15 between its junction with SR 215 and Oak Hill Road in  
          Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  .  This measure honors Office Wettherling and Lieutenant  
          Stewart, who were both killed in the line of duty on March 9,  
          1973.
