           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates the portion of Route 94 from the  
          junction of Jamacha Road in Rancho San Diego to its terminus at  
          the junction of Route 80 in Boulevard within San Diego County as  
          "Historic Highway Route 94".

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  .  This measure is intended to recognize the historical  
          significance of Highway Route 94 in the development of  
          California, dating back to 1880s, when it was known as Campo  
          Road.
