           DIGEST  :    This bill revises the prescribed dimensions of  
          wire lobster traps, and adds provisions relating to the use  
          of a wire to hold the escape gap in place.

           Senate Floor Amendments  of 8/20/10 delete the prior version  
          of the bill relating to coastal resources and now updates  
          the technical description of the dimensions and selected  
          features of legal commercial lobster traps to reflect  
          current practice. 


           ANALYSIS  :    Existing law prescribes the construction and  
          dimensions of a wire lobster trap.

          This bill updates the technical description of the  
          dimensions and selected features of legal commercial  
          lobster traps to reflect current practice.
