Existing law generally regulates insurance.
This bill would state that it is the intent of the Legislature to
enact legislation add places of religious observance or practice to
the list of properties that cannot have a property insurance policy
canceled or renewal denied because of the commission of a crime
against the property.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact

to the list of properties that cannot have a property insurance
policy canceled or renewal denied because of the commission of a
crime against the property.
