SUMMARY : Increases the chiropractic license renewal fee from
$150 to $250.
The Senate amendments delete the discretion of the State Board
of Chiropractic Examiners (BCE) to adjust the fee to a maximum
of $250.
AS PASSED BY THE ASSEMBLY , this bill is substantially similar to
the version passed by the Senate.
FISCAL EFFECT : According to the Assembly Appropriations
Committee analysis, annual increased fee-supported special fund
revenues of $1.3 million to support enforcement and
administration workload for BCE.
