SUMMARY : Authorizes the Department of General Services (DGS) to
sell or exchange specified property to the County of Napa
(County).
The Senate amendments :
1)Require any sale or exchange agreement to preserve Napa State
Hospital's ownership and use of Camp Coombs, and prohibits
Camp Coombs from being part of the sale or exchange. An
agreement for the sale or exchange shall include an easement,
that shall be recorded, that provides Napa State Hospital with
access to Camp Coombs.
2)Require DGS to approve fair market value.
3)Make clarifying and technical amendments.
AS PASSED BY THE ASSEMBLY , this bill was substantially similar
to the version approved by the Senate.
