   An act relating to county employees retirement.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2436, as introduced, Buchanan. County employees retirement.
   The County Employees Retirement Law of 1937 sets forth a
comprehensive system of retirement benefits for county and district
employees.
   This bill would declare the intent of Legislature to enact
legislation that would address issues relating to county public
employee retirement pensions.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of Legislature to enact legislation
that will address issues relating to county public employee
retirement pensions.
